In fair Verona, where we lay our scene...

The weather lately has been just perfect for outdoor shoots. I took advantage of some great natural light for a recent family portrait session at the Verona, NJ  home of Gail and her two kids, Matt and Katie. (And a sweetheart of a lap dog, Buggy.) The backyard was full of photographic potential, from the landscaped garden, to the sparkling blue pool, to the stone steps. I switched scenes frequently, and got a great selection of portraits.

Gail was a little reluctant to jump in front of the camera, but some pleading from her kids helped me win her over.

Katie and Matt, both recent graduates, head off in different directions in the fall - Katie's finished with college and moving to California, while Matt will be playing ice hockey for his college in Maine. Buggy's plans are unconfirmed at this time, but rumored to include 'lazing by the pool' and 'watching TV'.

Thanks to all of you for a great shoot!

We loved our photos, they were truly beautiful. I couldn't have been more reluctant to get in front of the camera, but Phil was a pro and "pushed the right buttons". We would recommend Phil Cantor Photography to anyone looking for a memorable and beautiful family photo,
thanks again,
Gail
